The Consumer Electronics Show( CES), the largest trade show for electronic products, is held every time in the first week of January in Las Vegas, USA. Its first session was held on June 24, 1967, in New York.

The Consumer Electronics Show( CES), the world's largest trade show for electronic products, is held every time in the first week of January in Las Vegas, USA. The world's biggest technology companies share in this fair and it's in this fair that the idea of what new technology products are coming throughout the time is given. However the history of CES is relatively old. And not in January.

On June 24, 1967, the first CES show was organized in New York City, USA. It was a follow-up to the Chicago Music Show. At the first fair, further than 100 fairs and 17,500 callers gathered in this event to display electronic consumer goods. It was held twice a time from 1978 to 1984. In January, the downtime show was held in Las Vegas, and in June, the summer show was held in Chicago.

The fashionability of Winter CES continues to grow time after time. But the number of callers to the summer fair continues to drop. Eventually, from 1998, it was decided to hold this fair once a time in Las Vegas. Since also, CES has been held in Las Vegas every time in the first week of January.

CES is hosted by the Consumer Technology Association( CTA) of the United States. The show wasn't held in 2021 and 2022 due to the covid situation. The last event of CES was held from 5 to 8 January this time. This show will be held at the same time coming time. Walton is the first Bangladeshi company to share in this time's CES.

HP announces new ATM technology

Computer maker Hewlett-Packard Company announces new ATM( Automated Teller Machine) testing capabilities. This new technology was demonstrated at the Supercom'96 fair held in Dallas, USA from 25 to 27 June 1996. The technology that HP developed was the' Asynchronous Transfer Mode Test'. By going to the ATM cell, a client could check whether he's getting a quality service as per demand, with the help of HP's new technology.
